Prints For Palestine

An Art Auction for Healthcare Workers in Gaza

About the Auction

Prints for Palestine is an art auction organized to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians, an organization directly supporting Palestinian healthcare workers on the ground. All of the works featured in the auction were generously donated by more than 90 artists. Prints for Palestine will launch at 12pm EST on Friday October 27th and will close at 12pm EST on Friday November 3rd.

How does the auction work?

This is an online auction. You can view available artworks and place bids on the Prints for Palestine website, starting at 12pm (Eastern Standard Time) on Friday October 27th.

To bid on an artwork, press the “Bid Amount +” button at the artwork’s top-right corner. This will redirect you to a Google Form page. Enter your information into the form and press “Place Bid” to submit. Please note that the minimum bid increment is $2, $5, or $10 depending on the number of copies and starting bid of each item. After submitting the form, you will receive an email confirmation that you have successfully placed a bid. To return to the main auction page, use the link embedded in the form submission confirmation.

At 12pm on November 3rd, the auction will close, and the highest bidder for each artwork at that time will win! Where multiple copies of an artwork are available, multiple bidders will win.

If you place a successful bid, we will send a PayPal invoice for the amount of your bid (plus shipping) after November 3rd. If you don’t pay the PayPal invoice within 24 hours of receiving it, you will forfeit the item to the next highest bidder.

How can I bid on artworks with multiple copies available?

Some artworks in the auction have multiple copies available while others are sigular. To determine whether multiple copies of a work are available, click “MORE INFO” in the lower right corner of each item image.

Regardless of how many copies are available, you bid on all auction items the same way (see instructions above). The only difference is when the bidding period ends, some items will have multiple winners. For example, if an artwork has 5 available copies, the top 5 bidders on that item will all be winners.

I won some artwork! How will I get it?

Artworks will be shipped to successful bidders by mid-November.

Where is the money going?

100% of the funds we raise will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). MAP is a UK based organization directly supporting Palestinian healthcare workers on the ground as Palestinians continue to flee their homes or brace themselves during the continued US-backed Israeli siege on Gaza.

Binch Press/Queer.Archive.Work will collect payment from all successful bidders following the close of the auction, then send all funds to MAP as a single lump sum contribution. For transparency, we will share confirmation of this donation with all artists and successful bidders.

How else can I support Palestinians right now?

CALL FOR A CEASEFIRE NOW! At this moment, the Israeli government’s total blockade continues to severely limit the life-saving humanitarian aid—including food, water, medical supplies, and fuel—that can enter Gaza and reach Palestinians under siege, and supplies are running out. By participating in this auction, you are helping to ensure that medical workers on the ground can quickly gain access to the resources they need as soon as this is possible. But right now, the most urgent call to action is to raise your voice against the unfolding genocide in Gaza:

Who’s organizing this auction?

Prints for Palestine is organized by a small team of volunteers, some of whom are Jewish and all of whom are white non-Palestinians. The project is supported by Binch Press/Queer.Archive.Work, a print and publishing cooperative studio centering queer/trans artists and artists of color in occupied Narragansett land (so called Providence, RI). We’re grateful to the studio’s members for their support of this process and patience as we use the studio space. We’re also enormously grateful to every artist who donated work to the auction…the swell of generous support has moved us all ❤️🇵🇸

Thank you — Tycho, Jules, Tommi, and Jordan
